This week, I present to you another famous article in the world of startups.
Do things that don’t scale by Paul Graham.
Paul is one of the most prolific entrepreneurs/investors of our time. Among other things, he helped found the startup accelerator Y Combinator.
The idea behind his article is that startups take off because founders make them take off.
There may be a minority that will grow on their own, but it usually takes a big little nudge to get them started.
It then presents a list of examples of well-known companies that had to do laborious actions at their beginning to get their project off the ground.
It’s a must read to put into perspective what it really takes to have a chance at success.
